Why Losinj Guide?
I wanted to create the website where tourists can find useful and correct information about the island of Losinj, different from the one you can find on the usual sites. I will try to add everything what I want to know when I travel to the new destination and try to be up to date. The project started in 2023. and will be updated all the time. I’ve started with Mali Losinj, but will try to add other places on the island too… Enjoy and contact me if you have any question or information you would like to share.

A short list of most common questions and useful information that you should check if you are arriving on the island
YES it is! There is a lake on the island of Cres near Vrana with enough water for the islands (LoĊĦinj, Cres and Ilovik are connected). Do not buy bottled water, the one from the pipe is even better.
There is a hospital in the Mali Losinj and special physician for the tourists during the summer. Also, you can find infirmary in Nerezine and Baldarin camp (Punta kriza). I don’t have good experience with the dentists there, but there are several of them. Read more in medical info.

There is a citybus in summer riding between losinj hotels (Veli Losinj too, hotel Punta) and camps to center – check schedule. Also, there is a train (nice for kids). Check @ link
